PresidentMr. Fendler is the second generation owner of Fendler Patterson, who learned the construction industry starting as a laborer and working his way up to President. He has served the Savage community through roles in Junior Chamber, Chamber of Commerce, and City Council, including three terms as Mayor.

Vice PresidentMr. Patterson brings over 25 years of project management leadership to Fendler Patterson clients. With a strong background in both design and construction, John will guide your project from preliminary site planning through city approvals, construction, and issuance of your Certificate of Occupancy.

Senior Project ManagerWith extensive experience in all phases of the construction process, Mr. Monson can manage projects through design, permitting, construction, and Certificate of Occupancy. He takes pride in delivering projects within budget, on schedule, and to the owner’s complete satisfaction.

Project ManagerMr. Cook joined the Fendler Patterson team in 2016 and is dedicated to providing clients with a professional, detailed approach in all aspects of a project. From start to finish, he navigates the moving parts of each project with extensive skill and experience. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in Commercial Construction Management.

Project ManagerFollowing three summers as an intern with the company, Mr. Driessen joined Fendler Patterson as a Project Engineer in January 2020 and was promoted to Project Manager in 2022. He graduated from Colorado State University in December 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, minoring in Business with a focus in Real Estate. Mr. Driessen’s attention to detail and willingness to help ensure seamless execution of projects, from the preliminary estimating phase through closeouts.

Ryan Wendorff
Project EngineerRyan Wendorff
Project EngineerBeginning his career in 1996 as a Laborer, Mr. Wendorff has also served as foreman and jobsite superintendent through the years. Since 2016, he’s been a project manager and estimator, joining Fendler Patterson in early 2020, where he assists on estimates of all shapes and sizes. His keen attention to detail, passion and perseverance have earned him the trust and respect of both clients and project team members.

Project EngineerMs. Thompson joined the Fendler Patterson team in June 2021 as a Project Engineer and graduated from the University of Minnesota in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Minor in Construction Management. In her position, she brings innovative approaches as she works collaboratively with our Project Managers and Field Superintendents in overall planning, management and execution of work for various construction projects.

Administrative AssistantMs. Koski joined Fendler Patterson as an Administrative Assistant in early 2019. A graduate of Brown Institute of Broadcasting, her professional experience includes careers in journalism and media relations. She has also worked in support of military and first responders, serving on the board of directors of various non-profit organizations that honor and assist our men and women in uniform.

Jobsite Superintendent, Tenant ImprovementsStarting his career as a carpenter in 1979, Mr. Slettedahl began supervising jobsites within 10 years, eventually joining Fendler Patterson in 2010. Overseeing field personnel on a large variety of commercial projects over the years, he currently specializes in Tenant Improvements out of Fendler Patterson’s downtown Minneapolis office. His extensive experience, leadership and organizational skills ensure his projects stay on schedule and on budget.

Jobsite SuperintendentMr. Patterson began his career in the construction industry in 2011 as a laborer, after graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Since joining Fendler Patterson as superintendent in 2014, he has provided oversight on multiple jobsites – from storage facilities to smaller office remodels – with determination, skill and a genuine passion for his craft.

Jobsite SuperintendentMr. Roberts joined Fendler Patterson in 2018 with over 10 years of experience in the industry. A carpenter by trade, Jake also served as a foreman and assistant superintendent before becoming a jobsite superintendent. Jake’s personability, determination and attention to detail culminate to instill confidence in clients and trade partners alike.

Jack Friedrichs

Jobsite SuperintendentHaving previously worked as an electrician, Mr. Friedrichs decided to move out of the trades and into supervision, landing at Fendler Patterson in 2020. He studied Business Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth and has been a realtor with his family’s company since 2009. In his role at Fendler Patterson, Mr. Friedrichs works closely onsite with job superintendents and trades throughout the construction phase of a project, lending a hand wherever needed.

Brandon Beckman

Jobsite SuperintendentMr. Beckman’s introduction to the construction industry began early as he was raised working for his family’s residential remodeling and home building business. Graduating in 2016 from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration, he began his commercial construction career as an associate construction manager and later held the positions of assistant superintendent and superintendent. Mr. Beckman joined the Fendler Patterson team as a Jobsite Superintendent in July of 2021 and applies his extensive knowledge and skills gained over the years to oversee his various projects expertly and successfully.
